Veresi Akácos Pumi Kennel was founded in 2003 when we decided to adopt Anghiházi Dió and continue the work her previous owner Zsolt Fodor (Baba-Yaga kennel) started with her.

“We” means myself and my retired parents, without whom it would be impossible for me to conscientiously take care of a pumi next to a social life and a full-time job. They are the ones who are at home with the pumis all day ensuring their general wellness and I couldn’t be more grateful to them for backing me in this hobby.

Because we are a HOBBY, not a business. We only breed one or two litters per year, when we as a family decide we have the time to properly care for a litter of puppies. We believe in quality not quantity, and we breed with versatility and the currently valid FCI Standard in mind.

We are currently located in a small town near Budapest with plenty of forests, fields and lakes surrounding our home. The pumis have a nice garden to enjoy and they are welcome to stay with us in the house too.
